Allan Mansell is a celebrated Tasmanian & Australian Aboriginal Artist and printmaker whose Tasmanian Aboriginal artwork has been sold to collectors around the world.  He has exhibited extensively in both collaborative and solo exhibitions and he was commissioned by the Embassy of the Netherlands to create an Australian Aboriginal art work commemorating the Early Dutch Explorers and their discovery of Australia.

Allan hails directly from the survivors of the British invasion, who had inhabited the Tasmanian island of the Furneaux Group in Bass Strait. His family were the last of the Indigenous Nomadic Groups who traversed Tasmania from one end to the other in search of work and food without car or possessions.
